Transformation | Santic Group Officially Launches Digital Upgrade Project

On July 26, 2024, Santic Group, in partnership with Virs Digital Technology (Xiamen) Co., Ltd., held the kick-off meeting for the Santic Group Digital Upgrade Project at the Group headquarters. Chairman Hou Fengqi, leaders from various business units and centers, as well as Mr. Zhang and the project team from Virs Xiamen, attended the meeting to jointly launch a new chapter in Santic’s digital transformation journey.



In the context of global AI and digital development, the Group is fully promoting digitalization to enhance core competitiveness. The digital upgrade project adopts a strategy of customizing a mature ERP framework for the footwear and apparel industry to fit Santic’s business characteristics.


Through process reengineering and system reconstruction, the project aims to:

● Integrate the full value chain for seamless business collaboration

● Enable transparent information sharing

● Achieve unified financial and operational management

● Connect internal and external operations


The initiative establishes a Group-wide management system framework, achieving horizontal business collaboration, vertical operational control, and a closed-loop business process.


At the meeting, Wang Jinwang, Director of the Group Information Center, introduced the project background, objectives, and current status. He emphasized:

● The initial focus will be on foundational infrastructure and system framework, with business and user-specific customizations addressed later

● Requirements will be strictly controlled to ensure alignment with strategic objectives

● The project’s timeline, organizational structure, and division of responsibilities were outlined to facilitate smooth implementation



Mr. Zhang from Virs presented the overall project plan and key business solutions, highlighting:

● The end-to-end business process, technical architecture, and unified management model for system implementation across all business units

● Coverage across the entire value chain: customer development, product development, order processing, supplier management, and financial accounting

● Project methodology and success assurance criteria, drawing on lessons from large-scale industry digital transformation initiatives

● Encouragement for all stakeholders to embrace change and actively participate in the project



In his concluding remarks, Chairman Hou emphasized that digitalization is a continuous, iterative process aligned with business growth. He highlighted:

● Digital management is increasingly specialized, and future enterprises across all industries will become data-driven organizations

● Digital transformation is a comprehensive change—involving system upgrades, process reengineering, business innovation, operational management improvement, and strategic execution

● Implementing a digital blueprint enhances standardization, operational efficiency, value chain effectiveness, and decision-making


Chairman Hou stressed two guiding principles:

1. Learn externally: leverage industry-recognized system frameworks and mature, stable platforms to support global expansion

2. Control internally: adhere to proven practices across all business units, including foreign trade and cross-border operations, without unnecessarily challenging effective standard models



He called on all employees to embrace change and treat the digital upgrade as an opportunity to drive the Group’s strategic development over the next five years. He stressed that successful digital transformation requires full participation and collaboration across all levels, with continuous evaluation and adjustments to ensure project success.



The successful kick-off marks the official start of Santic Group’s comprehensive digital upgrade project, ushering in a major transformation of the company’s digital infrastructure and business processes.
